My inspiration has always come from the North, its culture, landscapes and history. Growing up in Scotland, my childhood was full of legend and myth, castles, clan customs, rugged coastlines and dramatic scenery.
In later years living in Northern England I explored the Roman settlements along Hadrians Wall, the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales and dramatic landscapes of the Lake District. Elements of history and landscape will often appear, particularly in my jewellery and sculpture work.
Each piece of jewellery and sculpture is beautifully hand cut, crafted and finished with meticulous attention to detail, each in its own way inspired by the landscape and history of the North.
